From Orginal County Of spotsylvania Collection. Reads: Pine Forrest was built in 1845 by Elliot Dejarentte (1788-1857). The Home was inheirted by son Elliot Hawes Dejarentte who in turn passed the home to his daughter known locally as "Miss Eva" the house located near Partlow lies in ruins today.
